Drake is coming to Dublin. Drake is coming to Dublin! We are living in a world where we will no doubt quite soon be awash with images of Drake being ushered through the Book of Kells tour and then politely being led through the Guinness Storehouse, pondering whether being plied with all this information is really worth it for a single free pint of Guinness.
We can look forward to this happening in March. Specifically, he will be performing three dates in Dublin on 19, 21, 22 of March in the 3Arena on the European leg of his “Assassination Vacation Tour”.
Drake has been one of the most successful artists of the last 10 years and his fifth studio album, Scorpion, received a record-breaking billion streams in the first week of its release.
Tickets for the gigs will be priced at €76 and will go on sale this Friday, 25 January, at 9am.
“But what if these dates sell out?” I hear you plaintively wail, tear-stained fists thumping your keyboards in frustration, “However will I see Drake then.” Well, as can reasonably be imagined the ‘European leg’ of his tour is obviously not exclusively confined to Ireland.
