Yesterday it was announced that Modern Family would be renewed for an eleventh season, but this would be the final season.
Modern Family hit our screens in September 2009. At the time of its debut, the series portrayal of same-sex partners and blended families was groundbreaking. It was an instant hit with its sharp wit and ability to address common issues families face with a comedic edge that makes viewers laugh but also reflect. Households everywhere fell in love with each of these characters. Essentially, we grew up with the Dunphy family and learnt valuable lessons from them time and time again.
Here are ten life lessons we learnt from Modern Family:
Life Lesson #1- To get more excitement from the little things in life, try lowering your expectations

It’ll be sad to see Modern Family finish but at the same time, it will be good to see the show leave on a high rather than be dragged out for more seasons like another certain American family.. hint they’re yellow.
