The true crime genre has seen an explosion in popularity over the last decade that can only be described as being ‘a damning indictment on the deep and sinister desires of society at large’. Such is our seemingly insatiable lust for this genre, and new murders and mysteries, that I’m sure nowadays the first two people on any crime scene where someone has died will be a police officer and a Netflix producer looking to purchase the rights to the murder’s story.
The latest true crime documentary series to have attracted the attentions and fascinations of those people in society who enjoy voyeuristically watching their fellow humans being killed has been Netflix’s Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes. The four part series utilised tapes, previously unheard by the public, in which the serial killer Ted Bundy discussed his motives for murdering dozens of young women throughout the United States.
Well, given that Netflix are largely responsible for stoking this near universal interest in the horrors of man’s inhumanity to man, they have have taken it upon themselves to try sate the beast they’ve awoken as best they can. They have released a list of of other true crime documentaries that are available on their service that they recommend to anyone who enjoyed Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.
if you liked Fyre and The Ted Bundy Tapes may we suggest Abducted in Plain Sight, a doc you can also file under “what in the actual fuck”

They, in particular, recommend the documentary Abducted In Plain Sight. If you have somehow already exhausted this list, then I recommend you seek some sort of counseling, as your soul is corrupted and it is only a matter of time before you kill, or, kill again. In which case, look forward to your very own Netflix documentary!
