It has been confirmed that the wildly successfully RuPaul’s Drag Race is set to have an UK spin-off in the works. What’s more both Alan Carr and Graham Norton have been confirmed as judges.
The two chat-show hosts will join RuPaul and Michelle Visage on the judging panel of the show, titled RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Both men confirmed that they would be judges on the show through separate videos posted to BBC Three.
Speaking about the announcement to the BBC Graham Norton said that “Becoming part of the drag race family makes me ridiculously happy! I can’t wait to see what the UK drag queens bring to the party, but they better weeeerk!”
An air-date for the series has yet to be announced.
For those of you unfamiliar with the show, it is a reality television show which features aspiring drag acts compete weekly in a series of costume and performance challenges with a contestant being evicted each week. A winner is crowned at the end of the series.
